Pacific Jewish Film Festival

April 5th - 13th, 2008
Richard Benjamin to Headline 6th Annual Pacific Jewish Film Festival!
Wednesday, April 9th --- Actor/Director Richard Benjamin made a name in neurotic, self-involved roles. Beginning in 1969 with memorable roles as the angst-driven collegiate Neil Klugman in Goodbye Columbus, and the pompous Major Danby in Catch-22, he went on to play the monumentally insensitive husband in Diary of a Mad Housewife and the title character in Portnoy’s Complaint. In 1982, he directed his first feature, My Favorite Year. Since that time, Benjamin has concentrated on directing such films as Racing with the Moon, City Heat, The Money Pit, Little Nikita, My Stepmother is an Alien, Mermaids and Made in America.
