Teen & Tween Programs

We offer COOL programs and events specifically for 6-12 graders including fitness classes, Mitzvah Madness Club, field trips, college prep and Saturday night parties in an environment that promotes Jewish identity.

Club 18 Teen Lounge:
For members only entering grades 6-12. Club 18 Hang-Time offers some serious fun. Come and enjoy a Premium foosball table, a phat pool table, a “fast set” ping pong table, big screen TV, rockin’ stereo, four computers or just come chill. Club 18 Teen Lounge is supervised at all times by qualified staff. All Teens are required to sign a code of conduct before participating in teen hang-time hours and wear your JCC I.D. at all times.

Swim Team Trains Winners

Year Round Youth Aquatics Program
WAVES swimming uses a progressive age group program in which the swimmer will be instructed and developed in physical, mental and emotional levels in a systematic fash­ion. An emphasis on fun and family for the younger swimmers develops into a gradual increase in commitment over a period of years. ADVANCED REMBRANDTS, AGES 10-13
Fee includes materials: canvases 20x20, paint, clay, tools and mixed media supplies In this new class students will gain a better understanding of art history, art theory and art careers. Advanced Rembrandts will explore different art media and begin creating a professional portfolio.

Community Service Projects
Each month the JCC will offer different community service projects for the teens of OC We will collaborate with Commuity Service Organizations and other Jewish Organization. Come to the JCC to earn Community Service hours while having fun! Contact Audra at 949 435 3400 ext 265 or audram@jccoc.org.
Grease J Stage
General Rehearsals will be Sundays from 2-5 pm. Additional rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays for leads and certain numbers. A rehearsal schedule will be passed out at auditions. Rehearsal schedule will be based on role. Performance dates: Jan 22 @ 7 pm, Jan 24 @ 4pm

ROCK & ROLL ART CLASS, AGES 14-18
This class is for the art student who would like more time and help exploring different art media under the guidance of an experienced artist. In this class students will gain a better understanding of art history, art theory and art careers. – all while listening to your favorite music. Just bring your inspiration, music and imagination! Fee includes materials: canvases 20x20, paint, clay, tools and mixed media supplies (No class 9/23 or 9/30)

The Princeton Review
The Merage Jewish Community Center and the Princeton Review have created a partnership to bring you the nation's leading SAT preparation course! Classes shall be help at the Merage JCC.
