Designed with children and parents in mind, we provide high-quality educational, recreational and social enrichment programs to help your children grow, learn, meet friends and HAVE FUN! Programs include:

Club J: When school is done, Club J begins. Club J provides the support and convenience of daily after-school programs. Choose from two, three or five-day programs, with pickup/transportation available from some local schools. Participants can attend up to two enrichment classes per day at no additional charge and also receive School's Out - J's In at no charge. Club J enrollment is not available on line at this time. After School Enrichment (a la carte): From flag football and cooking to theater, yoga and chess, the J's after-school enrichment classes offer a program for every child's interests. Club J attendees can participate in two after school enrichments per day at not additional charge. Individual After School Enrichments are available for on-line registration subject to space availability.

Birthday Parties: Celebrate your child's birthday at the J! We offer swimming, sports, crafts and pajama parties. All packages are two hours and include supervised activities, birthday cake, paper goods and birthday balloons.

JCCOC NJB Youth Coastal Basketball League Welcome to the second season of JCCOC NJB Basketball for players in Grades K-8! This is a great chance for you to learn the skills and fundamentals of basketball while playing on an official JCC team with a great coach! All games will be played on Sunday afternoons starting December 2nd. Each team will have one practice per week beginning in late October. Bhuya Yoga II Grade K

Black Top Floor Hockey grades 1-3
Learn the fundamentals of the exciting fast paced game of Black top Hockey. Students will practice passing, dribbling, scoring with helpful eye of the J coaches. Sticks are provided.

Cartooning Grades 4-5
Learn the steps to create your own cartoon characters. In this fun class you will use basic cartooning techniques to draw a variety of characters. In addition you will be encouraged to use your creativity and imagination to develop your own cartoon characters and story line to go with the characters designed.

Family Passover Clayshop
In this special two part clayshop,children (with help from their parents) will create a special ceramic Seder Plate for use in your Passover Celebration. Bring special cookie cutters (need not be Jewish themed) to shape decorative pieces

Gaga and Handball Grades 4-5
Practice your GaGa and Handball skills with your Club J friends. Learn the skills necessary to be the GaGa/Handball champ. GaGa is an exciting new game that teaches basic sports skills and encourages social interaction with their peers. Children must use agility, hand/eye coordination, and quick thinking in order to excel in this game while having fun! Handball is a game that uses quick maneuvers, strong focus, and hand/eye coordination while getting a great cardiovascular workout. Like racquetball, handball is played by hitting a soft ball against a wall while trying to make a return shot for the other players. Players need to use strategy for setting up shots so their opponents won't get there in time. Coaches will supervise, teach rules and fundamentals as well as develop skills, techniques, and strategy while having fun!

Konstructo Kidz, Grades 4-5
In this really kool klass you will be the general contractor in charge of construction as you build an architectural model of a city or house made of creative are pieces and pre-cut parts. There is a $25 material fee. No class April 23.

Krafty Kids Grade K
Be creative and krafty and learn how to create art pieces with fun materials, make paintings using bottle caps, wood, sand and more! There is a $25 materials fee.

Manners Matter, Grades 1-3

NFL Flag Football Clinic Grades 2-3
With NFL Flag you become part of a well organized national program emphasizing football education, participation and sportsmanship. The league is made up of three age divisions. You will practice with your coach for the first half hour and then play games against other teams the rest of the time. This is a great way to learn the skills, fundamentals and rules of football.

NJB Lightning Basketball League: Grades 1 & 2
Represent the Merage JCC on the Merage JCCOC Lightning Basketball Team! This league is an extension of the JCC NJB regular season. Play on Sundays against other teams in the county including Irvine Youth Basketball League Chapter, Newport Mesa League Chapter, and Aliso Laguna Niguel Chapter. Continue to practice and improve your game to get ready for Division 2 basketball next season! Teams will have between 8-10 players per team. There will be 5 games, no game on May 11. Game times will vary between 1 to 4 pm. Please sign-up ASAP.

School's Out/JCC's In 2008
For TVT students. Come spend the day at the J with us! Participate in a variety of activities including sports, art, swimming, games, field trips and more! Please bring a Kosher dairy lunch, swim suit and towel. Pre Care and Post Care available for additional charge.

Shavuot in the Lobby
Get ready for Shavuot! We'll be making Mt. Sinai Sand Art, Decorating the "Ten Commandment Tablets," creating flower garlands. Each child will also have an opportunity to make their own sundae.

Sketch, Etch and Draw grades 1-3
Children will have the opportunity to draw amazing things. A variety of materials and art media will be available and a new subject matter will be introduced every week ranging from animals to landscapes to still life and even art history. There is a $25 materials fee.

Studio 4-5 Nights, Grades 4-5: May 17

T-Ball, Grade K
