Because you always wanted to try! We are holding 3 exciting 2-Day 101 Art Workshops. This is perfect for Beginners or anyone who wants a refresher course in the fundamentals!

Workshop I – Painting 101 – May 23 and May 30
This workshop is for the absolute beginner. We will focus on still life, how to start to paint, how to choose a subject, composition, shadow, and a bit of color theory (how to mix colors).
Workshop II – Drawing 101 – June 6 and June 13
This workshop is for the beginner. We will focus on learning to draw landscapes, perspective as well as an introduction to drawing the human figure.
Workshop III – Abstract 101 – June 20 and June 27
This workshop is an introduction to the wonderful new mediums and texturing pastes used in modern art.

Art & Wine - Uncork Your Creativity!
Come join us for a glass of wine and a fabulous creative evening! Looking for a way to explore your artistic side but don't know where to start? This creative class is designed for both the artistic and not so artistic! The instructor will guide you through basic drawing skills and you will learn the basics of acrylic painting. We believe it's easier to learn when you're having fun. Over a 4 week period, we will show you a step-by-step approach on how to create your own masterpiece worth hanging!

LITTLE REMBRANDTS: ART OUTSIDE!, AGES 4-5
The weather is warming up and we are going to discover the wonders of nature outdoors in this fun, creative new program. We will study the plants and trees around the J, plant our own flowers to paint and draw, play with sand art, and learn to draw ourselves and our friends in the lovely gardens around the J and much more.
