From basketball to volleyball and gymnastics, the J offers opportunities to participate in team, league or individual athletic programs. Our state-of-the-art facility features one of the largest JCC gymnasiums in North America.
Check out our four regulation basketball courts, volleyball courts, two electronic score boards, and the rock-climbing wall. You can also play on our large sports field and enjoy our top of the line equipment.
Individual/Group Basketball Training
The curriculum focuses on individual skill instruction and basketball related strength and agility training. Fundamental and advanced concepts will be taught in the following areas: ball handling,
shooting, passing, defense, footwork, rebounding, attack moves, and confidence. Private and semi private training options. See the Fitness Desk for details and pricing.

• 4 year Varsity Letterman at Mater Dei and Woodbridge High School
• Member of the 1999 and 2000 CIF Southern Section Championship Mater Dei teams
• Selected 1st Team All Sea View League in 2001 and 2002
• Selected to the 2002 Orange County All Star Game
• Recruited and played Point Guard for the University of Pennsylvania
Pick Up Games JCC members can get their game on at one of our Adult Pick Up Games in Basketball, Volleyball or Indoor Soccer. It’s fun and it’s free! Check the schedule below for game days and times.
Gym General Information & Rules • No food or drinks in the gym at any time • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult • No black sole shoes and no cleats or spiked shoes • Shoes must be worn at all times (unless specified by instructor) • No fighting, spitting or obscene language • No hanging on basketball rims • No rock climbing without shoes, spotter (instructor) • No jumping on bleachers

Master Swimming, Ages 18+Welcome to the newest aquatics program at the JCC for swimmers 18 and over.
A certified coach guides you through a swimming workout that develops the skills you need to swim smoother, farther, and faster. The program will help adult swimmers of all levels to improve their swimming skills and assist them in meeting their personal goals.
Lanes sorted by ability will accommodate Novice swimmers to Tri-athlete. If you need a little pick up from your lap swimming or need a little instruction, then try it today! Swim yardage 800-2500 yards during the hour. Swimmer brings bathing suit, goggles, zoomers and something to drink during training.
