Israel at 60 Noa in Concert at the Barclay
Noa is Israel's leading international concert and recording artist performing songs from her recently released album Jean and Genes! Noa will perform with her long-time partner Gil Dor and their back-up band. Noa's musical style is an eclectic mix of pop, rock, blues, folk R&B and Yemienite influences. A Taste of Israel Cooking Class
What better way to celebrate Israel's 60th year of independence than by learning how to make delicious Israeli style small plates including carrot salad, falafel, hummus, tabouki sald and baba ganouj. Afterwards, we'll enjoy your small plates with some wine and cheese while watching a presentation from Learn Israel about the Israeli culinary scene.

Is there a poem in you? Do you hide your doodles and dream of painting them? Many people want to develop a life with more creativity and self expression. We are offering a fun class taught by Marcy Middler, PHD clinical director of Jewish Family Services. She spends her days off painting and writing.

Dr. Marjan Farid, UCI Opthamologist discusses changes to the eyes that may lead to vision problems and eye disease as we age. Will cover how macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataract and diabetes affect vision, the newest treatments and steps to reduce their risk of eye disease.
