Winter Camp

 

Preschool • TK-5 LIT 

Even though we do not expect snow fall here in Orange County, we still celebrate the winter season and all it has to offer. Sign up for all the days or just a few. 

Winter Camp Schedule
Week 1: Dec. 26-29, 2017
Week 2: Jan. 2 - 5, 2018

 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

TK-5: Members: $308/week, Public $408/week
Members: $90/day, Public $95/day
LIT:  Members: $232/week, Public $290/week
Members: $50/day, $60/day

Pre-care (7:30-9 a.m.): $44/week, $12/daily
Post-care* (3:30-6 p.m.): $62/week, $15/daily
*Post-care closes at 5 p.m. on Friday 12/29/18 and Friday 1/5/18.
Post-care has both free and structured play, 2-3 activity options are offered daily including sports, arts & crafts, music, storytelling, and more.

Campers in TK must be 5 by January 1 to participate. 

Snow Day: December 28

 

 

Week 1: Dec. 26 - 29

Fun Days Camp (Grades TK -1) or (Grades 2 -5)

Spend a fun-filled week doing science experiments, playing gaga and sockeyball, making arts and crafts, and cooking with friends. Each day has a different theme for half the day.

Monday: No Camp
Tuesday: Technology
Wednesday: Field Trip
Thursday: SNOW DAY!
Friday: End of Year Party

Ninja Camp with Sensei Quinlan (Grades K -5)

Ninja training by Sensei Quinlan! Get your ninjas out of the house and bring them in to conquer various physical and mental challenges. Ninja Warrior training is a great way for children to improve their fitness, mind and body, and confidence, while having fun. Obstacles courses, progressive relays, acrobatics and performance- and apparatus-styles for boys and girls. 

Soccer Skills/Sporto Camp (Grades TK -1) or (Grades 2- 5)

Campers will spend the morning working on their soccer skills and fundamentals through a week that includes warm-ups, tag games, relay races, team building activities, skill building activities, partner, individual, and group activities, and concludes with a game of World Cup. This is a great way for your camper to build confidence and learn teamwork while improving their soccer skills. Campers will then spend the afternoon playing different sports.

LIT (Leader-In-Training) Camp, Grades 6-8

Work hands-on with counselors and children on a daily basis, implementing programming and learning skills and techniques in order to one day be a stellar counselor here at the JCC.

 

Week 2: Jan. 2 - 5

Top Chef Camp (Grades TK -4) 

Learn how to cook all sorts of food in our exciting new camp! The second half of the day will be spent doing favorite camp activities like sports, games, and crafts.

JCC Sporto Camp (Grades Tk -1) or (Grades 2 -5)

Our JCC Basketball Camp consists of skill development drills, competitions, and games while having fun. Work on the fundamentals with experienced coaches and work on passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding and specific game situations while developing a high basketball IQ. . All participants will receive prizes and a
basketball. Campers will spend afternoons playing different sports.
