Celebration Ball Scholarship Gala

The JCC Celebration Ball is a gala evening honoring special leaders in the Jewish community for their extraordinary efforts. This event raises necessary funds to provide scholarships for families in our community dealing with difficult economic circumstances. Proceeds support the Merage JCC Scholarship program benefiting our preschool, after school programs and summer camps.

The Merage Jewish Community Center of Orange County provides a gathering place for children, teens, singles, families and seniors. The opportunities to experience the arts, participate in sports, socialize, learn, exercise and explore individual spirituality are endless. It is the philosophy of the Merage JCC to make these programs available to all members of the community.

Our 2010 event gave us a unique opportunity to celebrate the achievements of three remarkable community leaders. On Sunday, May 16, 2010 the JCC Celebration Ball honored Gary Brahm, Irving Burg, and in loving memory of Milt Chasin for sharing their spirit, strength and tzedakah with our Orange County Jewish community.
