Aqua Training

Aqua training is a low impact fitness option that will help you build muscle mass and lose pounds. Designed for high performing athletes, older adults and general fitness, Aqua Training can help clients experiencing pain or discomfort associated with pre- and post-rehabilitation, pre- and post-natal pregnancy, osteoporosis and arthritis. 

Master Swimming, Ages 18+

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-8 a.m. • $109 per month
In this guided swimming workout, you will develop the skills you need to swim smoother, farther, and faster. This program will help adult swimmers of all levels improve their swimming skills, and assist them in meeting their personal fitness goals.

From novice swimmers to tri-athlete, if you need a little pick up from your lap swimming or need a little instruction, then try it today! Swim yardage 800-2500 yards during the hour. Swimmer brings bathing suit, goggles, zoomers and something to drink during training.

Lap Swimming

Lap swimming (continuous swimming lengthwise) is available throughout the day in designated lanes, with no charge or reservation. If the number of Lap Swimmers exceeds 2 per lane please switch to circle swimming. Children may lap swim adhering to these guidelines and, if necessary, accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please note: there is limited lane space available during the swim team work out between 3:30-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3-5:30 p.m. on Fridays and 12-3 p.m. Sundays.

Water Fitness Classes, 18+

Join the fun of exercising in the water! The natural buoyancy of the water holds up to 90% of your body weight, making exercises less stressful to your muscles and joints while providing a terrific workout.

The following classes are FREE to JCC members:

Low Impact Aqua Aerobics

Mondays & Thursdays 9–10 a.m., Saturdays 9:30–10:30 a.m., Sundays 9 - 10 a.m.
(Special schedule: In  July & August all 9 a.m. aqua classes meet early at 8:15 a.m.)

Increase  your strength, flexibility and aerobic conditioning through water exercises without putting stress on your joints and muscles. This low impact class is geared for people with arthritis or osteoporosis.

Aqua Deck Fitness

Tuesdays 910 a.m., 
(Special schedule: In July & August all 9 a.m. aqua classes meet early at 8:15 a.m.)

Dry-land training to supplement water resistance movements in the pool. Class focuses on general fitness, stretching and toning. A great supplement for aqua aerobics.

Aqua Aerobics
