Anna Solomon: The Book of V.

Tuesday, October 27, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Discussion and live Zoom Q&A with the author

This bold novel intertwines the lives of three women across three centuries as their stories of sex, power, and desire finally converge in the present day. The three riveting stories of Lily, Vivian, and Esther overlap and ultimately collide, illuminating how women’s lives have and have not changed over thousands of years.

Anna Solomon is the author of Leaving Lucy Pear and The Little Bride, and a two-time winner of the Pushcart Prize. Her short fiction and essays have appeared in many publications such as The New York Times Magazine, One Story, Ploughshares, and Slate. Anna previously worked as an award-winning journalist for National Public Radio’s Living on Earth. She is a graduate of Brown University and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and teaches writing at Barnard College, Warren Wilson’s MFA Program in Creative Writing, and the 92Y Unterberg Poetry Center.
