Yoel, a meticulous Hebrew researcher is embroiled in a widely publicized legal battle concerning a brutal massacre of Jewish forced laborers near the Austrian village of Lensdorf. Yoel's reserach leads him to highly classified interviews of Holocaust survivors that were supposed to be kept secret until after their deaths. When Yoel's pursuit of the truth leads him to bend the rules, he learns that his mother has been living under a false identity. As a historian, Yoel is willing to risk everything to discover the truth.
