Learn–Connect–Do Good: Join us for a special evening to learn about the IsraAID Humanitarian Professionals Network launching this fall and how Israeli innovation and expertise helps support over 2 million people in 50 countries worldwide.

Special remarks by the Director of IsraAID’s Humanitarian Professionals Network (IHPN)Farah Shamolian, and Shira Goldstein IsraAID’s Country Director in Nepal, Sierra Leone, and Liberia, Shira oversaw trainings on trauma, stress management, gender-based violence, and women’s/children’s rights for local, governmental, and international agencies. She has worked in the global health field for 11 years.

What is the IsraAID Humanitarian Professionals Network (IHPN)?

IHPN is an international network of professionals and volunteers who share a passionate interest in local and global humanitarian aid and IsraAID's long-term recovery work. Members of IHPN receive briefings and training on humanitarian relief, international development and disaster response topics from Israel's leading experts and based on IsraAID's experience on the ground. Members also receive access to deployment opportunities with IsraAID.

Participants will:

  • Gain Knowledge: Increase understanding of humanitarian aid, emergency response and related topics
  • Be Prepared: Learn how to respond to disasters
  • Connect: Meet others committed to making an impact
  • Do Good: Deploy on IsraAID missions around the world and strengthen the local community
