Musical Theatre Tap Workshop

Monday - Thursday, June 16 - 19, 3:30 - 5:30 P.M.

Kids of all ages will love learning basic tap dance/softshoe steps, and incorporating them into exciting musical theatre combinations! A fun and low-pressure parent presentation will take place on the last day of the workshop, from 5:15 - 5:30 p.m. Tap shoes are optional, but not required for this workshop. No performance experience is necessary, and all skill levels are welcome!

This workshop will be taught by Haven Hanson, who JStage audiences may recognize as an accomplished performer in many of JStage's recent productions, and was recently nominated for an Orange County Theatre Guild award for his performance as "Lumiere" in JStage's 2024 production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. 

This workshop will run Monday - Thursday from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Pickup from Camp Haverim will be facilitated by the JCC. All workshop participants will meet their instructors outside in the Pavilion to enjoy a complimentary snack provided by the JCC before the beginning of the workshop.

50% of tuition is non-refundable upon registration. Tuition is completely nonrefundable as of the first day of the workshop.
