Opening Ceremonies

Bring the whole family, relatives and friends to the Opening Ceremonies of the 2018 JCC Maccabi Games and Artsfest. Includes entertainment, parade of athletes, Munich 11 memorial ceremony and more. The largest gathering in the history of Jewish Orange County.

Everyone is welcome to attend Opening Ceremonies.  There is no admission charge for Opening Ceremonies for Orange County residents, but each individual age 6 and older must have a credential or show I.D. at the entrance. No bags (excluding small purses) will be allowed at Opening Ceremonies.

Parking at Santa Ana Stadium: Please park in the Public Parking garages to the east and west of the stadium as directed by
traffic control. There is a fee to park.

 

Registration

Have you officially registered as a spectator for the 2018 JCC Maccabi Games and ArtsFest? If not, click here to register.  All spectators must have a credential to attend Opening Ceremonies and all Maccabi events. 

 

Credentials

The identification tag that every spectator, volunteer, coach, athlete, artist and host family must be wearing in order to get past security at any JCC Maccabi Games and ArtsFest venues. Credentials are a laminated information card attached to a lanyard. 

• All athletes, artists, parents, volunteers, spectators and Host Families, 6 years of age and older, must wear credentials to attend any Maccabi events.
• Credentials must be worn when picking up teens after evening events. Host Family and volunteer t-shirts are not sufficient.
• Additional photo ID may also be required.
• If a teen loses credentials, please contact the Delegation Head.

If you are not a resident of Orange County, there is a spectator fee of $40 before June 15 or $60 thereafter.

Spectators needs to register online and should visit www.jccmaccabigames.org/registration. Credentials will be available for pick up at the JCC in July.
