Developed by Joseph Pilates and brought to the USA in 1925, “Contrology” or modern-day Pilates is an exercise method that uses resistance through springs to strengthen the core, stretch the body and correct posture through mindful breathing and disciplined movement.
The JCC's dedicated Pilates studio accommodates private and semi-private training as well as small group Reformer classes. Expert instructors teach clients to perform with precision and design programs to suit individual fitness goals.
