Color in Motion:
Paint Alongside Albert Levi, Israeli Artist and Former IDF Elite Combat Soldier

Sunday, November 22, 1:30 P.M.

Join us for an afternoon of creativity and connection with Israeli artist Albert Levi.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or holding a paintbrush for the very first time, come create your own masterpiece and watch Albert bring his art to life during an interactive live painting demonstration.

Once a troubled teenager, Albert found purpose and transformation through his service in the IDF, forever shaped by his experiences before, during, and after October 7th. He turned to painting as a form of healing after serving in combat tours in Gaza and northern Israel, confronting and transforming battlefield trauma into powerful, joyous art, and reclaiming hope.

Albert Levi is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores emotion, movement, and the quiet power of human connection. Drawn from an early age to stories, people, and the emotional layers beneath everyday life, Albert turned to painting after becoming a commander in the elite Maglan unit of the IDF. What began as a deep personal process evolved into a lifelong artistic path. Working primarily with acrylics, he builds layered surfaces through bold gestures, refined details, and hand-finished elements, allowing the process itself to guide the final form so that no two pieces are ever the same. His paintings are known for their strong sense of movement, rich textures, and expressive energy, balancing depth with lightness and intensity with calm. Each piece is created to hold space, not just to fill it.

Albert's work is exhibited and collected internationally, including in galleries and private collections around the world, resonating with people drawn to art that feels alive, personal, and emotionally present. Some collectors connect to the sense of strength within the work; others are drawn to its freedom, movement, or quiet optimism—each viewer finding their own reflection inside the piece. Albert believes art should do more than decorate a wall. It should slow you down and invite you to feel something real. His goal is to create artwork that brings warmth, depth, and meaning into living spaces. Pieces that grow with you over time, and continue to speak long after the first glance.

Jewish National Fund-USA's strategic vision has been, and always will be, to ensure a strong, secure, and prosperous future for the land and people of Israel, building that future through bold initiatives and Zionist education. The scope of the organization's work is vast because it never thinks in terms of just one project at a time; it focuses instead on "Circles of Impact"—the cascading effects that one initiative can generate—and how those effects can be magnified to ripple out to strengthen the whole of Israel. This visionary approach to planning is what sets it apart. Its response to the horrific events of October 7 shows the strength of this strategy. For decades, the organization worked hand in hand with local communities to make wide-ranging investments in Israel's North and South, so when tragedy struck, the communities on the borders of Gaza and Lebanon reached out to Jewish National Fund-USA directly, and it was able to provide immediate aid, continuing to work with them today on a series of ambitious initiatives to provide resilience and spur growth. Jewish National Fund-USA's pledge to the land and people of Israel is: "We were there yesterday, we are there today, and we will be there tomorrow." More than a century of work has made it the most trusted name in Israel organizations, a promise that, with supporters' help, it will keep forever.
