Choosing an after-school program is one of those decisions that sounds simple until you're actually in it. Suddenly you're comparing pickup logistics, snack policies, enrichment offerings, and price points, all while your child is lobbying hard for the one their best friend goes to.

Summer is meant for laughter, new friendships, and memories that stick around long after the season ends. At the Merage JCC, we've built two summer camp experiences, Camp Haverim and Camp Yeladim, designed to give your child exactly that, in an environment where safety and fun aren't a trade-off. They go hand in hand.

Some holidays announce themselves with shofar blasts or dramatic retellings of plagues and parted seas. Shavuot is quieter, but don't let that fool you. This is the holiday that celebrates receiving the Torah at Mount Sinai, and it's one of our favorites to bring to life here at the JCC because it's really about learning, community, and, yes, an impressive amount of cheesecake.
