An Evening with Alex Edelman

Saturday, November 22, 7 P.M.

Alex Edelman is an award-winning comedian and writer whose work blends sharp stand-up with rich, narrative storytelling. His critically acclaimed solo show Just For Us ran for over 500 performances worldwide, including a celebrated Broadway run, before premiering as an HBO Original Comedy Special in April 2024. The special earned him a Tony Award, an Emmy and a spot on the Time 100 list.

Edelman's on-screen work includes a role in Jerry Seinfeld's Netflix directorial debut Unfrosted. He is currently developing a feature film with A24, which he will write, direct, and star in, produced by Marc Platt and Steven Levenson. His debut nonfiction collection, I Don't Belong Here, was recently acquired by Avid Reader at auction.

On television, Edelman has served as staff writer on CBS's The Great Indoors, story editor on Netflix's Teenage Bounty Hunters, and head writer for Saturday Night Seder, which raised over $3.5 million for the CDC COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund. He has written for The Atlantic, The Believer, and produced documentaries for the U.S. State Department and ESPN's 30 for 30 series. He also spent over a decade as a speechwriter for both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox.

Alex will next be seen starring in Greg Daniels' highly anticipated Office spinoff The Paper, where he also serves as a Consulting Producer.
