My Tummy: Digestion & Healthy Habits

Thursdays, January 29 - March 12, 3:30 - 4:15 P.M.

In this engaging and hands-on class, we'll take a journey through the digestive system—from the moment we take a bite to how our bodies turn food into fuel. Children will explore how their bodies break down food, absorb nutrients, and get rid of waste through fun experiments, sensory play, music, and movement.

Each week will focus on a different part of the digestive journey, using science-based activities and crafts to build understanding. From making a "stomach in a bag" to building a life-sized digestive model, children will gain body awareness and develop healthy habits. We will also connect to social-emotional learning themes like self-care, patience, and gratitude for our bodies.

This session will integrate the Jewish value of shmirat ha'guf (caring for the body) by promoting respect, wonder, and kindness toward ourselves and the incredible way our bodies work. 

Ages: 3 - 5 (must be potty proficient)

Enrichment registration serves as authorization for approved instructors to sign your child/ren out from the Aronoff Preschool for the duration of the registered enrichment program on the program day.

Parents of participants not enrolled in the preschool prior to the start of their enrolled enrichment class must drop off and pick up their child from the designated enrichment location.
