Please note this is a Saturday evening screening instead of our usual Thursday evening.

Set over the course of one evening in the streets of Tel Aviv, this intimate cinema verité film follows Peter and Lily, two seniors brought together on a first date after much pressure from Lily’s 31 year- old daughter, Nelly. Shot entirely by hand on a modest budget during the COVID lockdown, the film  balances the budding, hesitant connection of the seniors with Nelly’s own story. As Nelly repeatedly crosses paths with them throughout the date, she is forced to confront her complex relationship with her mother who has been keeping a decades old secret that is revealed in a poignant final moment.

Drama, 88 minutes, Director: Tommy Lang
