The Merage JCC is launching its 11th annual Reflection series commemorating three important Jewish and specifically, Israeli holidays: Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), Yom Hazikaron (Israeli Memorial Day) and Yom Ha'atzmaut (Israeli Independence Day). Recognized worldwide, the holidays intentionally are planned together, moving from one to another, from a tragedy, a continuous and noble fight, and a celebration.

With the ongoing generosity of Dana & Yossie Hollander, Doris & Martin Melnick, and the Steven Fainbarg Merage JCC Reflections Endowment, we are privileged to offer a combination of local and international programs to remembering the heroes who valiantly fought—and continue to fight to this very day—for hope and freedom.

His new role sparks a fierce rivalry with the disciplined second-in-command, whose methodical approach clashes with the lieutenant's reckless style.
