About Dror
Dror Cohen is a shinshin from Israel. ShinShinim are a select group of promising Israeli high school graduates who choose to defer their enlistments in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to spend a year as Israeli ambassadors in communities around the world.
Dror is from Petach Tikva, Israel, where he grew up in a close-knit family with two siblings and a dog. A graduate of Golda Meir High School with majors in law and cinema, he has a strong passion for sports and community leadership. He has extensive volunteer experience, having served as president of his school’s debate program, chairman of the student council, youth counselor in the Scouts, chairman of Israel’s national students and youth council, and a volunteer for the "Zicharon BaSallon" Holocaust remembrance initiative.
