As the Financial Controller, Oscar oversees the finance team, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of financial operations. He manages financial reporting, expense categorization, and compliance with established policies, procedures, and nonprofit accounting standards. Oscar collaborates with department leaders to support strategic financial planning, optimize budget tracking, and enhance cross-team coordination. He is currently enrolled in UCI’s Applied Accounting Certificate Program as he works toward obtaining his CPA, continually enhancing his expertise in financial management and nonprofit accounting. His role also includes streamlining financial processes, improving internal controls, and leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency while upholding the organization’s mission and financial sustainability.

A devoted father of two boys, Noah and Aiden, Oscar finds immense joy and fulfillment in fatherhood. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, watching sports, exploring diverse cuisines, and riding his motorcycle. Born in Usulután, El Salvador, he immigrated to the U.S. at the age of six and has proudly called Orange County home ever since.
